I’m Daniel, a super senior (‘23.5) studying Applied Math + MechE. In the past, I’ve studied and independently researched non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) against pandemic pathogens with grant support. After graduation, I’ll be working on US-China coordination in the context of deploying AI with both safety and security. In a past life, I was a(n) (over)competitive classical flutist. I’m a senior

studying Behavioral Decision Sciences with a specialization in critical reasoning. I’m interested in philosophy, cognitive science, and languages, among other things. Within EA, I’m especially interested in Improving Institutional Decision-Making (IIDM). I did some research on IIDM during my Summer Research Program at CHERI, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re interested in doing something similar or would like to know more about that!
