Effective Altruism Program

Sign up for the Effective Altruism Program!

Are you interested in maximizing your impact? Do you believe that we should think more seriously about how to optimally allocate the world’s resources to help others? Want to meet a community of Brown students dedicated to making the world a better place?

The Effective Altruism (EA) Program equips Brown students with the tools to think critically about how they can maximize their impact on the world and the resources to put these plans into action.

The fellowship will run for six weeks, beginning the week of October 1st and ending the week of Novermber 12. It will consist of weekly discussions with a facilitator and a small cohort of other Brown students. You’ll also have opportunities to attend speaker events and socials, as well as access to mentorship and internship/career opportunities across the broader effective altruism community.

If you have any questions, reach out to our fellowship director Adam (adam_kuzee@brown.edu) and he’ll be happy to chat with you!

Applications are due Monday, September 25th.
